This Privacy Policy explains how Dog Breed Detector ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and related services (the "Service").
We collect the following categories of information:
When you upload an image, it is transmitted to our server-side infrastructure and/or backend API for processing. We aim to process images in near real-time and do not intentionally make uploaded images publicly available.
Retention: we do not intend to store uploaded images long-term. However, limited retention may occur in temporary storage, caching layers, or logs (for example, to prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, or improve reliability). If we add long-term image storage in the future, we will update this policy.
We use service providers to host and operate the Service and to understand how the Service performs. For example, our site integrates Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which may collect usage and performance data.
We may also use advertising technology (for example, Google AdSense) to display ads. Ad partners may set cookies or similar identifiers and collect information about your device and interactions to measure performance and (where permitted) personalize ads.
You can typically control cookies through your browser settings. If ads are enabled, you may be able to control ad personalization via your ad provider's settings (for Google, see Google's Ads Settings).
We share information only as needed to operate the Service, including:
The Service may link to third-party sites (for example, Buy Me a Coffee). If you follow those links, your activity is governed by the third party's privacy policy, not ours.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, or correct personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at developmentjgonz@gmail.com.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates when it was most recently revised.
For questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at developmentjgonz@gmail.com.
