• Cookies and similar technologies: we (and our service providers) may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar tools to operate the Service, measure performance, and (if enabled) deliver and measure ads.
• Communications: if you contact us, we receive the content you send and associated metadata.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide the Service: process your uploaded image to estimate whether it contains a dog and which breed(s) are most likely.
• Maintain and improve: monitor reliability, debug errors, and improve performance and UX.
• Security: protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Ads and measurement (if enabled): show ads and measure ad performance.
• Communications: respond to your messages and requests.

4. Image Processing & Retention

When you upload an image, it is transmitted to our server-side infrastructure and/or backend API for processing. We aim to process images in near real-time and do not intentionally make uploaded images publicly available.

Retention: we do not intend to store uploaded images long-term. However, limited retention may occur in temporary storage, caching layers, or logs (for example, to prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, or improve reliability). If we add long-term image storage in the future, we will update this policy.

5. Service Providers, Analytics, and Ads

We use service providers to host and operate the Service and to understand how the Service performs. For example, our site integrates Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which may collect usage and performance data.

We may also use advertising technology (for example, Google AdSense) to display ads. Ad partners may set cookies or similar identifiers and collect information about your device and interactions to measure performance and (where permitted) personalize ads.
